From Dolittle to Wonder Woman 1984, Here we bring you ten of the most movies anticipated of 2020.
The year 2019 has been a blockbuster for the film world where we witnessed some of the finest contributions to the world of cinema. While the critics were left awestruck by films like the Irishman, Chernobyl and Parasite, box office records were broke by the likes of The Avengers Endgame, The Lion King and John Wick 3.
We expect some similar fireworks in 2020 too. As a new decade begins let look at the most anticipated movies of this year which every film buff needs to have on their lists.
Remember this films are in no particular order. Lets begin:
1. Dolittle:
Starting at number one we've got our beloved RDJ's first big post Avengers project (or maybe not post-avengers). It's been quite a while for us to witness RDJ donning a character other than his extra ordinary portrayal of Tony Stark aka Iron man. Here he'll be portraying a physicist named Dr. Dolittle who has the extra ordinary ability pf being able to talk to animals. We know for sure that RDJ is a master of getting into the skins of the character he portrays so it ll be more than exciting to see how this movie plays out. Dolittle releases on 17th January 2020 (India).
2. No time to die:
At number two we have the 25th James Bond film and the 5th to star Daniel Craig as the titular character. Hemmed as the final outing for Daniel Craig as 007, this film has some high expectations to meet. It also carries the responsibility to set the path for the future Bond movies and the bond legacy. Considering Craig's journey as bond has been filled with ups like "Casino Royale" and "Skyfall" and Downs such as "Quantum of Solace" and kinda lukewarm like the "Spectre", It'll also be extremely important for Daniel Craig to end his Bond journey with "No time to die" on a high note.
No time to die releases on 8th April 2020 (India).
3. Black Widow:
It was heart breaking for the fans to witness her ultimate sacrifice and eventual death in the Avenger: Endgame. But she's back on the big screen for one more time at least and we couldn't be anymore happier. The movie has been demanded by the fans for a really really Long time now we finally get a solo Black Widow movie which explains her origins and gives us the chance to witness the whole story from Natasha Romanoff's point of view. It releases on 1st May 2020 (India).
( For those die hard Marvel fans out there, Marvel Comics has planned to release Black Widow Prelude, a two issue miniseries that ll help set the stage for the May film. Featuring several other famous Marvel Character, the 1st Prelude answers question like why Natasha deflected from the Red Room and joined S.H.I.E.L.D. in the MCU. The first issue releases on Jan 15.)
4. Fast and Furious 9:
Big Cast, Big Muscles, Big Guns and even Bigger Cars and stunts. That's how you ll simply describe a typical Fast and Furious film. Having been around for nearly two decades now we don't see this extremely popular series ending anytime soon. This year they are going to return again and go all out skull crushing, cars racing and guns blazing again. With the humongous success of Hobbs and Shaw we expect some fireworks at the box office with this one. It releases on 22nd May 2020(India).
5. Bad Boys for life:
Its the much awaited sequel every 90's kid has been longing for. So, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence return to for the third installment in the buddy cop action comedy film.A typical Will Smith film sure to be enjoyed by the fans of that genre. Here we are bought back to the story f the two lovely cops who are nearing their retirement but are forced to confront one final nemesis.This one is guaranteed to be a rib tickler and considering the series track record expect some real moments filled with witty duologue's, punchlines and brotherly bonds.

6. Wonder Woman 1984:
It'a been two years since Gal Gadot stole our hearts as she adorned the big screen as the incredibly amazing Wonder Woman and we've been demanding a sequel since the moment we exited the theatres. SO, when the sequel was finally announced and eventually a trailer was released it received outflows of love. We also know for sure that Steve Trevor who we thought apparently died in the first movies has survived and were eager to know more about him and how he survived. Set in 1984 we'll be witnessing Wonder Woman clash with The Cheetah one of her most deadly nemesis in the comics. This is going to be a hell of a story and visual treat for sure.

7. Free Guy:
I've personally been awaiting this one since the time I saw the trailer. We don't need to explain how amazing Ryan Reynolds is and especially in roles like this which feel like tailor made for him. Seriously, I couldn't imagine anyone else playing this role and being able to carry it as good as him. Ryan Reynold's plays a character called Guy who's a background character in an open world game which will soon go offline. I especially Love this genre of movies and Id be more than happy to find how this one turns out to be. Free Guy releases on 3rd July 2020(India).
8. Top Gun "Maverick":
This year is surely filled with sequels and here we have one again starring Tom Cruise. This sequel has been 34 years into the making. The sequel continues the story of Pete "Maverick" Mitchell as he's spent more than thirty years as the Navy's Top Aviators facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of of his deepest fears in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice. With Tom Cruise around expect some crazy stunts and some real plot twists and turns.
Top Gun: Maverick releases on 26th June 2020(India).
9 The Eternals:
Another Marvel movie on the list. With a humongous star cast of Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kit Harrington, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Don Lee and many more, this marks the beginning of a new phase of the MCU. Here we'll be introduce with an immortal alien race created by the Celestials to protect humanity from their evil counterparts the Deviants. It is going to be a story spanning over 7000 years. Fan's have been on a frenzy since the time it was announced at the comic con and this film could very well turn out to be the highest grossing film of 2020.
The Eternals releases on 6th November 2020(India).
10. Tenet:
Last but not the least, we have Christopher Nolan ready to produce another master piece scifi which is sure to leave us mind boggling and awestruck. Christopher Nolan never fails to impress us by the way he turns up with ideas and here he provides us with the story of an agent tasked with preventing World War 3 with the help of time travel. Shot across various locations and boosting of a cast consisting of John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia and Michael Caine expect a masterpiece in the making.
Tenet releases on 17th July 2020(India).
