The Age of Millennial's

How this 21st century generation is different form all the others gone by...

We've been hearing about this so called millennial generation for quite a while now, about 

this generation is the one which  has individuals who are filled with confidence, enthusiasm,

eagerness to learn, individuals who are reckless, brave and quite stupid (at times).

In general the present generations are divided into three categories that are:

1.The generation X ( those born before 1982)

2.The generation Y ( those born between 1982 & 2000)

3.The generation Z ( those born after 2000)

Millennials or so called Gen Y  are the members of the generation Y born between the span of 1982-2000. This group are the largest living generation at this particular instant of time. They are also the

fastest growing workforce at the moment and perhaps also the largest audience available for various industries.

So what are the things that set them apart from the other generations?

Here we look at five points about the millennial's which differentiate them from other:

1. They've lived across two centuries.

The millennial's might not be even 40 years old yet but they've lived across both the 20th and 21st centuries. Quite few people might be able to boast about living across two centuries and not even being past their middle age. Fascinating isn't it?..

2.They're the generation of Internet & Social media.

It might be impossible right now to imagine our lives without the social media leave alone the Internet. But remember there was a time without your everyday facebook, instagram, whatsapp and twitter. Considering this the millennial's were the first generation to not only be exposed to but literally conquer this social media game.

3. They've been pampered.

The millennial generation have been pampered and nurtured by their parents and the older generation who didn't want them to make the same mistakes as the previous generations. This makes them confident, ambitious, achievement-oriented and a little spoilt of course.

4.They're fun-loving.

Gone are the days where people would sit in front of the televisions and watch whatever it throws at them. This generation demands that the control be in their own hands. Hence the advent of the Internet and later netflix have been received with open arms as they enable it's viewers to watch and entertain themselves the way they like the way they want. The term "Netflix and chill" explains how much this generation values entertainment and having fun above anything else.  

5. They're open-minded.

Millennial's are such a generation who are open-minded. They do not choose their circles based on their language, color, class, creed and status but instead based on similar value and ideas.

They are always eager to make new friends, bond over ideas, discuss plans and succeed together. 

 This are the few things we believe makes the millennial's different  from others.
