The audience has proved that content is king and it isn't enough to have a big star cast to make a successful movie anymore as we have witnessed some really good movies coming out from small banners and making it big at the box office. Having said so her we present you with ten of the Most awaited bollywood movies of 2020. The list is in no specific order and we hereby remind that this is a list of the most awaited movies not the ones we think are going to be the best or provide the greatest content.

1.Tanhaji:the unsung warrior:-

This film is based on 17th century on the life of Tanhaji Malusare.
He was a military leader of Chhatrapati Shivaji, founder of the Maratha empire.
The film depicts Tanhaji's attempts to recapture the Kondhan fortress once it passes on to Mughal emperor Aurangzeb's who transfers it's control to his trusted guard Udaybhan Singh Rathore.

2.Chhapaak:-

It is a drama film directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by her as well as Deepika Padukone in collaboration with Fox Star Studios.
This film is based on story of Laxmi Agrawal who is a survivor of an acid attack and also a lead campaigner of rights of acid attack victims and a TV host.
It stars Padukone as an acid attack survivor, alongside Vikrant Massey.

3.Bhangra paa le:-

It is a 2020 Indian comedy-drama film, directed by debutante Sneha Taurani and produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
It stars Sunny Kaushal and Rukshar Dhillon. This film marks the Hindi film debut of Balraj Singh Khehra and Himanshu Sharma.
Bhangra Paa Le is set to be a bridge between the traditional forms from all across the world.

4.Sab kushal mangal:-

Sab kushal Mangal  film is a 2020 romantic comedy film directed by Karan Vishwanth Kashyap starring Akshaye Khanna, two new comers Priyank Sharma and Ravi Kishan.
It was theatrically released in India on 3rd January 2020.
Pappu Mishra is the creator and host of a reality show called Musibat Odh Li Maine.
Baba Bhandari,a big name in politics and crime,is offended with his reportage.

5.Shimla Mirchi:-

It is a drama film directed by Ramesh Sippy starring Hema Malini, Rajkumar Rao and Rakul Preet Singh.
It is jointly produced by Ramesh Sippy, Rohan Sippy and Kiran Juneja.
The film had 5 year delay due to no buyer to buy the film.
It was theatrically released in India on 3rd January 2020.

5.Sooryavanshi:-

It is an upcoming action film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by him and Karan Johar under their banners Rohit Shetty PictureZ and Dharma Productions respectively, in  association with Reliance Entertainment and cape of good films.
It is the fourth installment of Shetty's Police Universe and features Akshay Kumar as the titular character opposite Katrina Kaif.
Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh reprise their roles of Bajirao Singham and Sangaram Bhalerao (Simmba) from the franchise's previous films Singham and Simmba in cameo appearances.

6.Baaghi 3:-

Baaghi 3 stars Tiger Shroff, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor.
This film is a spiritual sequel to Baaghi and Baaghi 2.

7.'83 (1983):-

This film is an upcoming Indian sports drama film.
'83 is a biopic based on the life of veteran cricketer Kapil Dev, which talks about the time India won the coveted world cup in 1983.
This film is directed by Kabir Khan and jointly produced by Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Madhu Mantena, Deepika Padukone and Sajid Naidadwala.
The film stars Ranveer Singh as cricketer Kapil Dev, along with Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Amrita Puri, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Tamil actor Jiiva and Sahil Khattar.
The story narrates Dev's journey of life as well as how he became the captain of India national cricket team and won the 1983 cricket world cup.

8.Radhe:-

Your most wanted bhai is an upcoming 2020 Indian action film directed by Prabhu Deva.
The film stars Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff was officially announced on 18 october 2019 with it's motion poster released.
The film is produced by Sohail Khan under the banner of Reel Life Productions Private Limited.
It is scheduled to be released on 22 may 2020, the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

9.Lal Singh Chaddha:-

Laal Singh Chaddha is an upcoming Indian comedy-drama film directed by Advait Chandan, produced by Aamir Khan Productions along with Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
An official remake of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump.
It stars Aamir Khan as the titular character and Kareena Kapoor as his love interest.
This film was officially on 14 march 2019 by Khan on occasion of his birthday.
The filming begun on 31 October 2019 in Chandigarh.
The film is scheduled to be theatrically released in India on Christmas 2020.

10.Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan:-

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy drama film.
The film, themed on homosexuality, is a quasi sequel to the 2017 film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.
This film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar is written and directed by Hiesh Kewakya and produced by Aanand L.Rai and Bhushan Kumar under their respective banners colour yellow Productions and T-series.
The filming began on 10 September 2019 and ended on 16 December 2019 in Benares; is scheduled to be released on 21 February 2020.
